Hello again!

Well I haven't posted anything for a while, but I have been a little busy!

Here is what has been happening in the Benoit house since our last post.

Hudson turned 1.

He is such a big boy now!

Hudson also graduated from swimming lesson

He did amazing and I can't wait to continue next year to see what he will be able to do.

We took a small vacation to Harlingen to meet our new niece and nephew. While we were there we took Hudson to the beach. He loved it!

We continued our small vacation to Ft. Worth and I attended the 2011 Scentsy Conference.

I had a great time and learned a lot.

Then the biggest event of all:

We became a family of 4!

Ella Gayle Benoit came into the world on September 5th, 2011

6lbs 2.5oz 19 1/2 inches long

She is a sweet little thing and her big brother loves her!

That day was full of emotions but we made it through it!

So that should catch you up, I hope to stay on top of the blog from now on.

11 months

11 months! I can't believe I just typed that :(

Well, Hudson, the count down is officially on for your first birthday. I can't believe you're going to be ONE in less than a month. Your invitations will go out soon, the moon bounce was ordered, we're making a food list, ordering your cake and party favors, and the rest of the planning is well under way.

Oh my sweet boy, you are doing so many wonderful things. You're standing all by yourself now and you're actually getting brave and trying to let go! You have actually taken a few steps all on your own!

Daddy and I try to just kiss and hug you all the time and all you want to do is play.

You have exactly 6 teeth now, you were chewing on anything you could get your hands on!

You just LOVE your blankie especially when you are really tired.

You are really doing well with a sippy cup, and we'll likely start the transition to whole milk in the next few weeks.

You are growing like a weed!

10 Months

Well, Hudson, you are 10 Months old now!!

The planning for your first birthday party is well under way. We've decided to do a Backyardigans theme and I know it will just be so perfect for you. I will be scheduling your 1st birthday pictures soon. Now we're trying to reserve/order a bounce house, and order games, favors, and other fun stuff! Everyone is just so excited to celebrate with you.

This month has been an exciting one. The two biggest milestones that you hit were crusing and eating like a BIG BOY, you no longer need/want baby food. We have to clear the tables because you try and grab the remote or whatever else you can find on the table!

You love to chase around Izzy, you just laugh and laugh at her!

You have 4 top teeth and 2 bottom, but I think we are about to see two more on the top! What a big boy you are :)

You do not want to sit still and you just love to play and move around the room. You give the BEST slobbery wet kisses and big hugs. You love to play peek-a-boo with everyone and you're constantly waving and giving high-fives to anyone who asks for one.

You've been singing a lot lately, especially in church!! You love to eat and lately we just can't keep you full! I must say that some of the spring clothes I got you in a size 12 - 18 months!!

Daddy and Mommy love you very much!!

We are excited to announce that Baby #2 is on it's way!!

Hudson is going to be a big brother.

8 Months

You're such a big boy now that mama doesn't even know what to do with herself. The new things you do everyday are so amazing to me. You love playing peek-a-boo with everyone.

You love playing on the floor with all your toys even though most of the time you get into other things :)

You love to play with your cousin Ainsley! Aren't ya'll sweet together!!

You're eating 3 meals a day, drinking 4 to 6oz bottles, wearing SIZE 3 diapers and sometimes 12 month clothing. You 4 teeth, and more are on the way...

You haven't had a well visit in a few months, but if I had to guess your weight, I'd say you were right around the 19lb mark.

You're 8 months, and mommy and daddy can't believe it.

Eight whole months.

I think you grew about 5 inches this month. Okay, not really, but it sure does seem like it! Pants that were too long for you a week ago seemed short this morning. You love to play with your feet and your chubby legs are super ticklish... which we just LOVE.

You are starting to pull yourself up, and everyone says it will not be long before you are walking (mommy and daddy are in TROUBLE).....

You are growing so fast.

Daddy and Mommy love you very much!

Traveling

We recently did a little traveling; first we went to Bridgeport TX to visit Brian's cousin Justin and his family. We had a great time and Hudson was able to play with his older cousins.

The kids had tons of room to play as you can tell. We really did have a great time (thanks Judy for letting us stay with you).

Our next stop was Horseshoe Bay resort, where we really didn't get to spend much time but it was a really nice hotel. While we were in the Austin area we took Hudson to visit his two grandmas. First was a trip to Fredericksburg to visit MeMaw and boy did she love Hudson!

The next day we saw Grandma in Austin, while Hudson was a little fussy. She also loved Hudson.

While we had a great time visiting everyone, we were happy to be home.

You turned 7 months yesterday and I can not believe it!

You've done so many wonderful things this month. You talk and you are officially a sitting expert and we no longer have to worry about you when we plop you down. Your hair is growing so much that you now have "bed head" when you wake up =)

You love music and when mommy sings to you {even though her voice is simply awful.} You are a mommy's boy!!

You are happy baby. You are always so pleasantly sweet and just a joy to be around.

You are such a big boy, you are sitting in a high chair and you officially started crawling on Christmas day!

You currently wear size 9m clothing {but some 6m outfits still fit you} eat 3 meals a day {and sometimes a snack} and veggies are your favorite, which is quite the opposite of most babies. You drink about 4 to 6oz at a time, sometimes more {like before bed} and sometimes less. You go to bed around 8:30pm and wake up at 7:00am. You have had a cold for the last couple of weeks so you really haven't been sleeping well, but I hope you get back to normal soon.

You love to crawl, even though you just started. You can turn yourself around in circles on your belly to get different toys and such. You also have two bottom teeth, but I swear I see one about to come through on the top. You're chomping and drooling on everything.

You are growing so fast, but I am loving every minute.
